PEPSI COKE-Get volunteer couples, split the room, women on one side, and men on the other. One side named Coke, the other Pepsi. Upon the spoken word coke or Pepsi, the side of the room called will run to the other side where the teammate would drop to one knee. The running side will sit upon the knee and the last couple standing is eliminated.
HOT HULA HOOP-Join volunteers hand making a circle. Place the hoop between two volunteers. Music starts; members must move their body through the hoop with out breaking the chain. When the music stops, the member with the hoop is out.
MIKE BEHIND THE MIC TRIVIA-Assorted trivia questions are asked and when answered correctly a prize is awarded. This game is also used to excuse tables to eat at a buffet when dinner is served and so as not to create kayos at the dinner line and to keep guests entertained.
BALLOON ANIMALS-With the kids always finish eating before the parents, the balloon animals are awarded to the kids who participate in kid’s dances..e.g.-Hokey Pokey
AIR GUITARS-Real blow up air guitars with dark glassed are give to two volunteers to put on a show.
NAME THAT TUNE-Volunteers bid on timed notes with clued as to how long it will take to name that tune.
CONGA LINE-Volunteer will lead a conga line, with maracas to the music of Gloria Estafen’s Conga.
SNOWBALL DANCE-One couple volunteer, upon the spoken word snowball the couple go out to the audience and grab 2 more people to dance with, upon the word snowball again then the four get four more to dance with and so on. This continues until the dance floor is full or we are out of dancers.
Pass the CD – Contestants will form a circle with a straw in their mouth, the CD will be passed with out use of the hands from straw to straw. If you drop it your out.
Steal the song-A circle is formed from the contestant teams. A song is played one of the Teams members’ runs to pick up a bandana that is set in the middle of the circle from the DJ/KJ. The name of the song is then given. If it is incorrect then the participant is excused if it is correct then the participant is awarded one point. Three to five points wins depending on the amount of contestants.
Balloon Roulette- Teams of 2 blow up a balloon. The balloon is then placed between the teams. On the count of 3 or whatever then the teams must rotate in the opposite directions so as not to let the balloon touch the floor. You drop the balloon your out. Last team remaining wins. Consolation- each excused team will have the chance to a pop contest. On the count with the balloon between the team members, they must pop the balloon with the use of the hands, mouth or feet. Pressing together preferably.
Hula Hoop Off-Teams of 4 members will form a circle; on the count they will move the hoop around the circle once. Last to complete on go around is excused. One hoop each will be added to the last two remaining teams to increase the difficulty. Last to finish is excused. The remaining team will Hula Hoop. Last team member hooping wins.
Play it backwards- The chorus of one song is played backward. The first person to guess the correct Title and Artist wins.
